The Conquest drama group was formed many years ago when a small group of friends wanted to get together and perform in a show. Several years later, thanks to the hard work of the drama group leaders it is now a 40+ strong group of amateur dramatic performers of all ages and backgrounds. If you have been to one of our in-house productions over the years you will have seen members of the drama group performing in these shows.
The drama group has enabled people to learn and grow confidence on stage in a friendly and welcoming environment. Thanks to the drama group, some members have gone on to pursue drama, singing and dancing because of their experience in the drama group. Our purpose as a charity is to bring the arts to the community and so we are proud to be able to offer a space and opportunities for people to experience the magic of theatre and the arts.
