Conquest Theatre Membership
The Conquest Theatre is an active and important part of the local community that is run by a group of committed and dedicated volunteers. Delivering live plays, music, youth schooling, films and cinema events, the Conquest Theatre appeals to all ages and attracts visitors from across the local counties.
As a charity, the Theatre membership plays a crucial role in supporting the theatre with its aim of promoting the arts to the community. Money raised from memberships goes directly back into the theatre in many different areas. Your membership may go to resources to build a set or material for costumes.
By becoming a member, you will have an input into the future direction of the Theatre. You will be invited to special events, receive an e-newsletter and be informed of upcoming auditions and performances. It is thanks to the support of our members and our audiences that we are able to continue bringing the arts to our community.
Types of Memberships
Being a member directly helps to support the Conquest Theatre. The money raised from the memberships goes into building maintenance and expansions, future productions as well as back into the memberships themselves. We thank everyone who is a member or is thinking of joining us.
Conquest Theatre Member
£30 per year

Joint Membership
£60 per year

On-stage Membership (Ages 18+)
£22.50 for six months (£7.50 top up for existing members)

This membership is for individuals aged 18+ only. Under 18’s will not have access to monthly meet-ups or workshops and should instead refer to the Youth Theatre.
If you already have an existing membership and would like to upgrade to the On-stage membership you can transfer over and pay the additional difference. Please contact us if you would like to transfer memberships.
The money from this membership goes directly back into the on-stage membership by funding monthly Drama Group meet-ups of activities and workshops and also includes actors deposit of show scripts.

What is the on-stage membership?
For many years the Conquest Theatre has not charged actors to be in productions. Despite this, some actors became members in the £30 tier. After some recent feedback from actors in our drama group and a meeting with some of them, they suggested we implement an on-stage membership for a six month trial. The on-stage membership which is for those aged 18+ has the same benefits as the £30 tier membership with the change of being able to offer their half price ticket for the opening night of a Conquest Theatre production to a member of the family or a friend. As well as this, the on-stage membership has additional benefits by enabling members to participate in any Conquest Theatre production throughout the year and to participate, suggest and vote on monthly drama group activities.
Every month, a day will be dedicated to bringing the on-stage members together for activities which they can suggest and vote on such as drama games, mini festivals or workshops. One month, the members may want to do an improv evening, another month they may want to have a dancing workshop. The options are endless with the purpose being to give the members a space where they can continue to learn and grow while meeting up with friends between shows.
The on-stage membership will be trialled for six months and reviewed at the end of year with feedback from the on-stage members. Similarly with the other memberships, the on-stage membership can be paid in instalments and bursaries are available. This membership is for individuals aged 18+ only. Subscriptions are payable at the box office or by direct debit and can be done in instalments annually, quarterly or monthly.
