Hiring the Auditorium

The Conquest Theatre is an ideal venue for a huge variety of uses such as conferences, theatre groups, clubs and societies.
When hiring the auditorium, it is fully staffed with stewards and technicians to ensure the smooth running of your event. The auditorium seats 153 people including three wheelchair spaces. It has a gentle slope with a pitch of 1:11 giving clear views from all areas. Each row is also staggered. There is one block of seats with two gangways, and the rear row is only 33 feet from the front of the stage.

All films and cinema events are shown with a high quality projector onto a large cinema screen with a Dolby surround sound system. Technicians are available to help with setting up and running your event.

Hiring the Foyer

The foyer can accommodate for meetings, celebrations and gatherings with lighting and sound capabilities and tables and chairs. We also welcome outside caters for sit down meals. A small stage can be set up at the end of the foyer with full lighting and sound to host small events to an audience of 50. This stage is used every month for our new event Conquest Spotlight which is our new initiative to offer new and existing individuals the chance to be a part of a small event. From our coffee shop and licensed bar refreshments can be purchased before every show and during the interval such as sweets, chocolate and ice cream. The Conquest Theatre operates a Challenge 25 policy.
