Bromyard has two council-run car parks, one of which is outside the Conquest Theatre in Tenbury Road which offers free parking after 6pm as well as coach spaces. Alternatively, Rowberry Street car park is a five minute walk away from the theatre.
The Conquest Theatre has an open plan foyer with a coffee shop and licensed bar. At every event refreshments can be purchased before the show and during the interval such as sweets, chocolate and ice cream. The Conquest Theatre operates a Challenge 25 policy.
The Conquest Theatre is wheelchair friendly with access throughout the foyer and auditorium as well as a disabled toilet. Three wheelchair spaces are available in the auditorium, for which booking is essential. An Induction Loop System is fitted to aid the hard of hearing.
Over the years, the Conquest Theatre foyer has held hundreds of exhibitions by artists, sculptors, flower arrangers and more to showcase talent and to sell their works. Exhibitions can be seen during all opening hours. If you would like to exhibit your work in our foyer please get in touch.
The foyer can accommodate for meetings, celebrations and gatherings with lighting and sound capabilities and tables and chairs. We also welcome outside caters for sit down meals. Please email us to enquire about hiring our foyer space.
The auditorium seats 153 people including three wheelchair spaces. It has a gentle slope with a pitch of 1:11 giving clear views from all areas. Rows are also staggered. There is one block of seats with two gangways, and the rear row is only 33 feet from the front of the stage.
Our auditorium has recently been refurbished with new British-made wool seats, new carpet, acoustic panelling accompanied by Dolby surround sound and a grey colour scheme. All films and cinema events are shown with a high quality projector onto a large cinema screen.
